Each year we hold events to promote water safety in the Territory. 

Water Safety Week

Water Safety Week takes place in September every year and is packed with a range of fun and educational activities and competitions for families across the Territory.

Lots of children entered this year's Water Safety Week colouring-in competition and we would like to thank them for sending in their fantastic work.

The winners of the 2011 colouring-in competition are:

• Jayda Mallett, Moulden Park School - Winner Under 5 years
• Georgia Auricht, Kulgera - Winner 5 years and above

Congratulations!  The winners recieve a portable DVD player (Under 5 years) and a waterproof digital camera (5 years and above) plus a water safety gift pack.

Community Events

We participate in a range of community events to promote water safety such as Children’s Week, Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs shows, Defence Community Organisation Open Day and more.
