Water Safety Month

We are pleased to announce that Water Safety Month 2008 (pdf 1.4Mb) will be occurring throughout the month of September. The opening event will held at Lake Alexander on Saturday 6 September from 1.00-4.00pm. There will be lots of water and land based activities for the entire family with entry and activities free.

The Disco by the Pool will be happening at the Palmerston Lifestyle and Aquatic Centre on Saturday 20 September from 6.00-9.00pm. There will be a DJ playing the latest music, water activities including the giant pool toy (waterakety) and Boof the Barra will make an appearance. Entry is by Gold Coin donation.

The final event will again be held at the Nightcliff Aquatic Centre from 1.00-4.00pm. Entry to the pool on this day is free with lots of water activities, jumping castle and food available.
